Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio site. What you will find here is a plethora of copy, multimedia, and various other fun projects I've had the opportunity to work on. Just like me, this site is constantly a work in progress!

I was born a writer. From a very early age, I began to use reading as a way to cultivate a vivid imagination, and build a foundation of empathy and respect for others. From reading great writers, I learned how to cultivate my own stories.

After earning my bachelor's in English Literature from Ole Miss, I knew I needed to continue to foster my love for writing and communication. I didn't know what that looked like in the professional world until I found PR/Strategic Media. I obtained my master's in Strategic Media from the University of Memphis. Even though I graduated, education never stops. After claiming over seven years in the field of IMC, I decided to pick up and move to Colorado to begin a Ph.D. program at CU Boulder.

Since beginning my career, I have worn many hats. I've been a proofreader/brand standards mastermind, a content specialist, a digital strategist, and a copywriter. I've learned to tell many different stories in many different ways. It's a challenge that keeps me curious and tenacious in the industry but also relevant in the classroom.
